요즘 좋은 느낌을 주는 캐나다 출신의 듀오가 있다.
이들은 통기타와 목소리로 노래를 맛깔나게 들려준다.
그룹의 이름은 sunshine state 로 플로리다주를 의미하지만 이들은 캐나다 그룹이다.
여성 보컬 알레자는 이렇게 말한다 - "선샤인 스테이트는 커피 토크(coffee talk)같은 음악 이예요. 친한 친구들이랑 식사 후에 주고받는 사랑과 인생에 대한 이야기. 실제로 제가 이야기를 막 늘어놓으면 제임스가 어느 샌가 그걸 노래로 만들어왔거든요."
노래를 들으면서 밑에 가사를 음미해보면 알겠지만,
마치 친한 여자친구가 나에게 빡빡한 인생살이에 대한 푸념을 하는 것을 듣는 듯하다.
